The
Web Design and Desktop Publishing program is designed to give students the
knowledge required to effectively plan, implement and support Web sites
and publications. Students will learn to design the main structure of a
Web site, program for the internet, design brochures and other
professional desktop publishing materials.
Duties
for graduating the Web Design and Desktop Publishing class may include
creating web pages, programming for the internet, use of presentation
software, and designing brochures and other professional desktop
publishing materials.
The
class consists of four grading periods over four months for day students,
seven months for evening students. Students must
complete the program with a minimum "D" average.
The
program cost includes that of all necessary books and materials.
Prerequisite:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
